DESCRIPTION:It is an LCM tradition to step away from campus for a restful weekend of retreat — to explore creation\, connect with God\, and get to know new friends. This year\, we’re offering a retreat during the spring semester!\n\nThe retreat is March 27-29\, and cost to you is $50\, thanks to generous donors. For the retreat\, we’ll be traveling to Camp Amnicon — a beautiful camp and retreat center about 2.5 hours away in Wisconsin\, situated on the south shore of Lake Superior! The space is cozy\, with a fireplace\, games\, books\, and a sauna for us to use — and it’s in a beautiful piece of God’s creation with lots to do outdoors\, including walking on the beach and hiking trails\, and hosting a campfire. \nThis time away will be the perfect time for y’all to catch your breath\, connect with yourself\, with God\, and with others. We’ll have plenty of open space for you to do what you need to rest\, and just enough programmed time so you can get to know people you don’t know as well. Study bugs take note – there will be a good balance of structured and unstructured time (with plenty of time to get homework done)! \nWe hope you can join the fun this spring! Register as soon as you can\, but for sure by March 9! Scholarships are available.

The goal isn’t to offer a college level class\, but instead to give you some tools and frameworks to continue growing in faith. If you know you’re coming on the trip\, sign up here! \nThrough a journey of trains\, boats and buses\, we arrive at this former mining village turned retreat center and intentional Christian community in the heart of the Cascades Mountains in Washington state\, and just kilometers from the Pacific Crest Trail. We’ll be serving alongside community members in the work of the village that week\, as well as learning from them about abundant hospitality and building community. Though Holden Village is the heart of this trip\, the journey there and back itself has produced an abundance of gifts for former travelers. Cost to you is $400 dollars\, and scholarships are available. The remaining cost will be covered by generous donors to LCM.

DESCRIPTION:The Fall Retreat is always a favorite of the year – open to new and returning students alike! Don’t miss out on this great chance to get away\, explore creation\, connect with God and get to know new friends! Join us for a restful weekend as we head to beautiful Luther Crest Camp near Alexandria\, MN. \nWe put this retreat mid-October\, because that’s the time when we all need to catch our breath\, and connect with ourselves\, with God\, and with others. We have lots of open space for you to do what you need to rest\, and just enough formalized time so you can get to know people you don’t know well. The camp is beautiful\, new to us this year\, and Pastor Kate’s pumpkin pancakes on Saturday will still be happening! \nCost to you is $50\, thanks to generous donors. Scholarships are available! Study bugs take note – there will be a good balance of structured and unstructured time (with plenty of time to get homework done)! \nWe hope you can join the fun! DESCRIPTION:To celebrate National Coming Out Day and the queer community\, LCM student leaders and staff will be out in front of Coffman with donuts\, stickers\, and of course\, giving out blessings to honor our queer siblings\, recognizing both the joys and complexities of coming out. Come find us and receive/give a blessing! \nTo help this event feel full\, lively\, and invitational to all who walk by\, we would love to see our entire community there! It’s so important for the campus to see a Christian community celebrating queerness\, so stop for some donuts and blessings!
