Nursery Attendant – Augustana Lutheran (West Saint Paul)
The purpose of this position is to provide coverage for all church services and events involving nursery throughout the entire year, providing the necessary playthings and equipment and for making certain that the appropriate maintenance of the nursery is provided. Additionally, by creating a safe and loving environment for children to learn and grow in faith, this position forwards the goals we have for families with children: form a living faith in Jesus, build community among families, and support the faith development of our youngest members in ways that help faith meet them where they are in life.

Part-Time Children’s Ministry Staff – The Table Mpls
Position: Part-Time Children’s Ministry – Kindergarten & 1st Grade Room Lead -and- 2nd & 3rd Grade Room Lead
Pay: $20/hr
Our ministry mission is to ensure that “kids get a sense of belonging and the chance
to explore their faith in community. Each week, kids hear they are loved by Jesus.”
During our children’s ministry time, our staff lead kids in learning about the Bible,
Biblical themes, and community building activities. Each room lead will have either a
paid room assistant or a volunteer to help with group time.
Responsibilities:
● Develop positive relationships with all children in the group
● Familiarize yourself with the weekly lesson & activities prior to each Sunday
● Prepare your space for group time before the beginning of program time
● Collaborate with the Director of Children’s Ministry / Pre-K teacher on joint
activities, games, and potential parent communications
● Facilitate lessons, games, conversations, and activities in an engaging way
● Develop & maintain positive rapport with parents of Kindergarten & 1st graders
to ensure easy & good communication with families
● Participate in a regular rotation to do Check-In Station set-up & takedown
Qualifications
● Must be LGBTQ+ affirming in your personal theology
● High School Diploma/GED OR 2+ years in children’s ministry leading
● Committed to practicing the ways of Jesus
● Alignment with the Table’s values
Must have availability on Sundays from 4:30-6:30pm (drop off begins around 4:45
pm program time usually is from 5-5:40, 5:40 kids go up for communion, 6pm
