Both “faith” and “science” are ways of understanding and making meaning in the world. They offer portals to mystery, wonder and awe. But they’re often also pitted against one another, seen to be in competition with one another, or offered as a false choice; as if God can’t be active in more than one sphere of our lives or is somehow against our longing to understand God’s good creation and our place in it.
